My morning disappears quickly and it can be hectic if I try to do too many things in the limited time I have before I leave for work. My go to breakfast is often a smoothie of some sort because it is fast and easy to take with me.
This is my favorite concoction these days.
Chocolate Berry Smoothie
½ cup Water
1 cup Almond milk
1 cup Frozen berries
1 teaspoon Maca powder
1-2 Tablespoons Raw Cacao Powder
And I sometimes add Chocolate Protein Powder (Sunwarrior brand) or a Tablespoon of chia seeds.
Toss it all in a blender and blend away!
Or put it in a big cup and use an immersion blender (that’s what I do).
I never actually measure my ingredients but this recipe is what I aim for. Sometimes I do more almond milk and less water. Once in awhile I’ll do all blueberries instead of mixed berries. Both options taste lovely!
