The days are longer and that just might mean you’re spending more time out in the sun. I’m a firm believer that using sunscreen everyday is a necessity, no matter the season. Springtime is a good time to recommit to the daily application so keep reading for details about my favorite sunscreen brand. Hopefully, it will inspire you to try it or find something that works for you.
Supergoop! has been my favorite sunscreen brand for at least a year now. I’ve tried out many other brands and often wound up with white streaks due to poorly absorbed product, an oily face, or a sunburn. I discovered Supergoop! after buying a little sun kit from Sephora, which featured a few Supergoop! products. They were all amazing! That’s hard to pull off but I think the brand is successful because they stay very focused on their ultimate goal of suncare (Sun 101) ensuring that their full product range is effective! The only thing that I’m still hesitant about is long term wear when in the water. If you’re planning on being out surfing, snorkeling, or whatever water based activity you enjoy, plan to reapply often (every hour) or find something that is heavily water resistant.
What I use...
A few of the other products I’ve tried are the Forever Young Hand Cream, which is a rich cream that is perfect for dehydrated hands. The eye cream is also awesome! It would be a great choice for a day where you might be outside a lot without sunglasses. Maybe you’re in a wedding party where everything is taking place outside. Prep your eyes with the eye cream and smile away! The City Sunscreen is also fantastic, very lightweight. Great for anyone that enjoys wearing foundation because it can easily act as a smoothing base.
Honestly, I imagine that all of their products are going to be fantastic! They apply well, smell good, and they work! AND...they’re reasonably priced! There are a lot of sunscreen brands that I would love to try but are completely out of my long term price range. It’s one thing to splurge to try something but what if it’s fantastic and yet completely unaffordable for continual use. My nightmare. But with Supergoop!, that’s not an issue.
Where to get it!
I’ve purchased my Supergoop! from Sephora only because I’m usually trying to hit the free shipping mark. Anybody else do that? However, the actual Supergoop! website has the same free shipping at $50 so if you’re ready to stock up and protect your skin from the oh so glorious yet damaging sun than head that way! They have a lot of cool sun kits that are great for anyone looking to give the products a try before jumping into the larger sized versions.
Ooh! I’m so excited for you to try it! If you do please let me know what you think!
