My dance classes usually end late into the evening.
I rarely feel like consuming a full meal or even a heavy snack after I've been dancing for over an hour but I usually need something to finish off the evening.
After class this week I discovered a new treat. Almond milk and dark chocolate.
The almond milk is filling and has a good amount of calcium and protein for recovery. The dark chocolate is soothing and healing with iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and many other lovely things that our bodies need!
This is a great post-workout snack. Give it a try!
P.S. I will admit to having this after getting home from the office as well. It's just so satisfying! Yum!
