And that’s a wrap. The Whole 30 journey was long, challenging, freeing, and a whole host of other things. Was it worth it, you may ask. Yes. Absolutely.
If you read my previous posts (here, here, here, and here) you may have noticed a swing of emotions from eager to frustrated. That pretty much describes my experience on the Whole 30. Some days were easy going and others weren’t. As mentioned in this post, experiencing emotion on a new level was not always pleasant. It’s not easy to carry on through a stressful day without a sugar boost, if that’s what your mind and body are used to.
Looking back on my goals:
Moving forward I hope to ease into a balanced approach to food. So far I’ve added dairy (raw milk, raw cream, and raw butter thanks to some dear friends), and quinoa. No adverse reactions at this point!
Whole 30 was quite the challenge but well worth it! I highly recommend it! If you’re considering trying it out but have a few questions about my experience please let me know! I’m happy to answer questions.
